Ottawa architecture firm, Atelier 292, re-envisioned this 1960’s bungalow into a beautiful two-storey home. Collaborating to maximize the potential of the space, the goal for the homeowners was to have a bright, open-plan and functional home for their family to enjoy. A palette consisting of mostly whites, greys and blacks creates a polished and fresh atmosphere in every room. With bold moments like the blue island, gold and black mesh pendant lighting and the custom black steel staircase guard, helps to keep the monochrome palette lively. Project Samuel is a complete design package from the exterior finishes all the way to the fine interior details. This gem in Alta Vista is a perfect example of re-imagining a space, working within the constraints of the existing structure and producing a show-stopping home.
