A bright and functional space were the most important deliverables in the design and renovation of the basement bathroom of this family home. On two walls, long white subway tiles, used floor to ceiling in a stacked pattern make the room not only appear larger and taller, but instantly brighter.  A walk-in shower with a glass partition was installed to create a more functional use of space, while also bringing a sense of openness to the room.  Keeping the room and its accessories predominantly white, grey and brushed nickel achieves the brightness craved by the clients while also showcasing the herringbone tiled floor, elevating this bathroom from purely functional to beautiful.
