The Halstead kitchen renovation was much needed for this family of five plus their four family pets. Focusing on a few key items, including; opening up the space, maximizing storage, and reflecting the homeowners wish of “anything but all white” were key to establishing the building blocks of this kitchen. Taking colour inspiration from one of their favourite pieces of art and pairing it with a neutral and hard-wearing base, this kitchen finds its stand-out moments with features like the heavily textured backsplash and playful wall-papered pantry while staying true to this family’s need for a functional and durable space. This kitchen is the perfect example that a small space and conservative budget aren’t limitations to a beautiful and functional space.
