Smudge Beauty Bar offers a beautiful reprieve from the hustle of downtown Ottawa.  Designed to have a fresh and clean look with vintage charm Smudge uses the 100-year old building which houses the business as the inspiration.  Pairing old with new, the beauty bar mixes materials and finishes - the high gloss white manicure stations juxtapose the vintage wood and cast iron Singer sewing machine hair stations. The play of fresh white contrasts warm wood and a deep blue feature wall throughout the space.  Vignettes of vintage mirrors, quirky salon photos and the original tin ceilings bring a vintage character to the otherwise fresh, bright, clean finishes and surfaces of this beautiful beauty bar.
